The main objective of this course is to develop fundamental skills in commerce and computer applications. It provides basic accounting knowledge to maintain accounts and encourages entrepreneurial abilities to support startups. The course integrates core commerce subjects with computer application topics. The curriculum is regularly updated based on advancements in the tech field and expert input. Subjects include Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, IT Fundamentals, Business Communication, Taxation, Banking Law, Marketing, Programming in C, Open Source Software and Systems, Web Programming, Digital Design, and Accounting Packages. Students also undergo training in system administration and networking at the end of Semester IV. Practical learning is reinforced through projects, presentations, industrial visits, and sessions by professionals.
